Hi – I’m Simon, an IT support guy with some 40 years experience working for resellers and myself providing a broad range of IT support and consulting. Nowadays it’s mainly working on small-medium networks in a windows / office 365 environment.

I thought it was about time I’d put something back into the on line community. The plan is to put up commonly occuring faults and their resolution, along with some not so common ones. Also, for those of you new to IT support some guidance on how to grow in the job and some of the basic skills you need.

Finally there will be some affiliate links to vendors, just to try and cover some of the costs of the hosting and time in putting these posts up.
